I don't know if it's due to this culture of randomness--are artists and kids just more creative--but I'm noticing a trend of art that doesn't seem to follow that many rules. Stuff like Adventure Time and other shows reveal to us the kind of things kids want--and the latest I discovered which are a craze among children and adults alike is the Ugly Doll! They have strange faces and even stranger names like Nandy, Wade, Wippy, Tutulu. They're taking toy shelves and are just hilariously ugly, which is cute in its own way!
